Happy Birthday to Daw ASSK

19th June is her birthday
"Happy Birthday" we all say
She has led us all the way
Sacrificing her luxurious days.

She was born a tender girl
She could have lived very well
Detached and disinterested in our affairs
Yet, she plunged into our hell.

Why did she do so?
She wishes to be a hero?
She wishes to help her ego?
She wishes to elevate her status quo?

No! No! It was for her country
To be democratic and free
So that people can deal
With their problems and see
What a good life should be!

She herself in jeopardy
Incarcerated as a detainee
Cut off from her progenies
Even from her dying hubby
What an Immortality or Ar-Zar-Ni!

Oh, "Happy Birthday Daw Aung San Suu Kyi
We wish you to be free!
Let the time come for it to be
Free, Free, Daw Aung san Suu Kyi!".
