Ko Ko Phwa Lan Kye´

Dr Maung Maung Nyo

Who are you, my Man?

Having left your land

On foot by boat and air

See your roots in despair?

You did not mix with people

You did not treat them true

You lived in your own world

That’s when you’re in Burma!

You saw the Burmese brown

Like a White looking down

As born and brought up in town

You acted as elite all along.

You toiled you tried you gain

Wealth wife wisdom and fame

Still an outcast abroad

You need roots as prop.

Having left the country

Forsaken the hungry

Assailing its leaders

Blacking its teachers

Neglecting their rights

Whitewashing the Whites

Who are you in new attire?

Certainly, No one need admire!

Dr Maung Maung Nyo
