Another Rising Sun or San?

She smiles with a face so graceful
Radiating confidence and cordiality too
Reminding her hero father so true
Burma has another sun or San coming through!

Those in power may imprison her
They may lock her up ever
But her mind is free
Her resolve is steel.

She is the beacon of hope for
Like second coming of her father
People know she will fulfill their desire
For democracy human rights and prosper.

What can authorities do to her?
Imprison, kill or banish from
Nothing will dismay her followers
She sits high in their hearts for ever
She's people's hope and guiding star
Hail Aung San Suu Kyi for ever!
