When the Padauk flowers bloom this Tagu
I wish a happy new year to all of you
With Thingyan water festival duly gone
May all the evils and wrong doings too.

Let you and your family can enjoy life
Without any fight, stress and strife
May the Burmese people also have the rights
To live like human beings as other tribes.

Let our children be proud of Burma
Once proud and prosperous with power
A nation of history, heroes and culture
It's a matter of time to regain the splendour
If they would unite and endevour for democracy
And nothing will be achieved by complacency!
