Let's Celebrate Mother's Day
Every human being has a mother
She carries us in her womb
At near or full term she delivers
She then nurtures us throughout life span.
Without a mother you cannot grow
Without a father you may not glow
But you still go on in life
Orphans indeed are in miserable plight.
Gautama Buddha has mother Maya
She died in labour delivering Him
Looked after by step-mother Gautami, Maya's sister
Buddha praised both for their love and dedication.
Jesus Christ had a mother called Mary
Holy spirit conceived Him within her
She brought Him up in glory or agony
Later acclaimed as Mother of God, our Father!
Mohammad is the father of many men
He has no father's name at the end
He led a good life and then
Lends a good religion for Mohammadans.
"No man is an island", they say
We all are related by mitochondrial DNA
Derived from a single mother of ancient Africa
So, let's celebrate Mother's Day together!
The Mother's Day is on the 13th of May this year
Let's not forget and take part joyously everywhere!

* Note: Mother's Day in most countries including USA is celebrated on the second Sunday of May every year, but some countries celebrate it in March or June.Burma celebrates it in January corresponding to Pyatho month of the Burmese calendar.

I like the poems and translations you've done on the blog. Thank you so much for sharing. They are very inspiring.
I would like to make a few suggestions on the blog, if you don’t mind.
1. Current layout is a bit hard to browse through. It displays almost all the poems on one page which slow down the page loading.
You can limit the posts show on the front page by: Settings > Show (10 - posts)
2. Also it is hard to search for the poems. There is no category on the page.
I see you use "label" to note the poet names. Those labels can be used as categories and can be displayed as the side bar links.
Go to Template > Page Elements > click on "Add a Page Element" on the side column > Add Labels
3. To improve on design aspect, you can use some free templates such this.

Upload that xml file on your Template tab > edit html > paste the contents there.
You can also choose different templates from this site: http://blogger-templates.blogspot.com/search/label/XML
4. You can also make your blog with Myanmar font such as Zawgyi unicode, so that you can type the original poems in Burmese instead of posting them as image files. The current images are small and hard to read the content inside.
I know it might be too much of a hassle for you and you might have a reason for having your blog the way as it is. So please don't take my suggestions as an offense. I only want to improve the visitors' readability aspect on the blog with such good content as yours.
