Speak, Beseech and Preach (Pyaw lite par bi Haw par bi)

Speak, Beseech and Preach
(Pyaw lite par bi Haw par bi)
My dear kid brother, “Brilliant Sun-shine”
Your dear son has grown up in time
He is twenty years old past teenage nine.
I noticed he is still playing with his playmates
Growing together since three years’ age
With dolls of cows and buffalo made
But, runs helter-skelter to you to bade
His whole body uncontrollably shakes
As though possessed by spirits of ancient date
I noticed it; I saw it in vivid image.
It’s time to tell him why?
On the fateful day of 19th July
Rain poured cats and dogs and crows cried
The whole city was like hell as he died.
On that day just passed ten thirty
Our beloved leader, Aung San, died in agony
He was assassinated by a jealous enemy
This news spread far and wide as calamity
It was like thunder bolt or bomb
Paralyzing people in and out of home
Making them indignant, angry and mourn
It’s from the east of village to cemetery tombs.
My dear kid brother Brilliant Sun-shine
You are the new face of time
It’s time to speak to your son to mind
For his own good to be patriotic and sublime.
He should understand Aung San’s character
Aung San’s courage and stamina
His leadership skills and endeavours
All the qualities and attributes of a perfect leader
He had accumulated for Burma.
So, speak to your beautiful young son;
Beseech and preach about Aung San!
